The free event brought together local guides, tourism operators, front-line staff, regional partners and community stakeholders for a day of professional development, networking and industry collaboration.

Secure Communities Partnership Program - Round 2 now open
Small and family businesses who have been directly impacted by crime or operate in an area impacted by crime in the last 5 years can apply for grants of between $5,000 and $20,000 (excluding GST). You must co-contribute at least 50% towards total project costs. Applications close 30 June 2026.

One of KBSC's youngest sailors (Owen Harris) has qualified for the O’Pen Skiff World Championships in Italy, and now he needs the community's support to help get him there. Every donation, sponsorship, and share of his story will help Owen chase his dream of competing against the world's best young sailors.
