More Speakers Announced! - In response to high residential demand across the region, a number of master planned communities have been approved and will present in one of our themed sessions on Friday 18th September. Lincoln Lifestyle Yeppoon, Mildura Rise Rockyview and Ellida Estate Rockhampton are three premium sustainable living communities which will present at our forum. Constructions Skills Queensland will present their CSQ’s Horizon2032 – 2026 edition highlights which will provide an update on workforce requirements responding to this demand.
From helicopters to fast boats, boomnets to buggies, sunrise to sunset, for five days last week, Capricorn Enterprise was thrilled to host production company Proud Nomads to film our beautiful destination which will feature in a one (1) hour bespoke episode for both television (Ch9) and on-line, as well as social media clips and B-roll vision for multi-media promotion. Another first of its kind, Capricorn Enterprise, in partnership with our neighbouring Gladstone region commissioned David Whitehill and Roger Price to produce this cinematic “Journey to the Southern Great Barrier Reef” which will air later this year on Channel 9 and will promote six (6) segments (3 segments each region).

First-of-its-kind boating experience set to launch on Great Keppel Island
A brand-new experience has arrived on Great Keppel Island, with local operator GKI Boat Hire partnering with Portless Boats to introduce an innovative, lifestyle-led way to explore the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Set to launch in the coming weeks, the experience will feature the Portless Trinity, a five-person inflatable trimaran designed for stability, comfort and social connection on the water.
